The New York Crime Victims’ Assistance Task Force includes citizens and organizations, both public and private, that advocate for and support the rights of victims of crime. The task force strives to make justice truly meaningful and truly effective by recognizing that crime isn’t something that “happens to someone else.” Crimes can have many victims, and there are countless opportunities to ensure that victims and survivors receive the rights and respect they need and deserve.
