The Idaho Council on Domestic Violence and Victim Assistance is the advisory body for programs and services affecting victims of domestic violence and others. The Idaho Council on Domestic Violence and Victim Assistance funds, promotes, and supports quality services to victims of crime throughout Idaho. The Council serves as the advisory body for programs affecting victims of crime. We are a granting agency to programs state-wide for services to victims of crime. Idaho Crime Victims Compensation
The Crime Victims Compensation Program provides funds for treatment expenses to the victim/claimant after all other sources of payment have been exhausted, up to a maximum of $25,000. When your claim is approved, payment may be made for reasonable expenses which are the direct result of the crime, including: Payments for physician and hospital services, medicine, and other approved treatment, including:
- Mental health treatment
- Counseling benefits for family members of victims
- Wage loss
- Dependent death benefits
- Funeral expenses

Boise Police Department Victim Services
The Boise Police Department Victim-Witness Program was developed in 1990 in response to a need for crisis intervention and support services for victims, witnesses, and survivors of violent crime. The program strives to increase the commitment of state and local governments to assist crime victims and to increase the range and availability of services for crime victims.
