Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault
ICASA member rape crisis centers are located across the state and provide services to approximately 98% of the state's population. Each center responds to victims of sexual assault and several centers provide services to multiple counties. Each center operates a 24-hour-hotline that provides services every day of the year. Staff and volunteers provide counseling, education and advocacy for victims and their families regardless of age, race or income. The rape crisis centers conduct training and prevention programs for local schools, law enforcement, hospitals and civic groups.

Resilience
Resilience is an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the healing and empowerment of sexual assault survivors through non-judgmental crisis intervention counseling, individual and group trauma therapy, and medical and legal advocacy in the greater Chicago metropolitan area. Resilience provides public education and institutional advocacy in order to improve the treatment of sexual assault survivors and to effect positive change in policies and public attitudes toward sexual assault.

Zacharias Sexual Abuse Center
Zacharias Sexual Abuse Center has been working to end sexual assault and abuse since 1983. We are passionately committed to supporting survivors with the quality of care they need and deserve. All counseling and advocacy services are free to anyone seeking help on their healing journey. Our caring staff, volunteers, interns and donors work together to provide invaluable services, educational programs, and trainings throughout our community. We are relationship-centered, community-conscious and results-oriented, rooted in mission and committed to ending sexual violence. they provide a place where survivors of sexual assault and abuse can heal and mobilize the community toward action to end violence.

Growing Strong Sexual Assault Center believes in the equality of all persons. Our mission is to provide healing services to victims of sexual assault and sexual abuse, and their significant others, and to educate the community in an effort to end violence and victimization.

Illinois Crime Victim Compensation
A violent crime can have a lasting impact and can bring changes that one might not expect. The Office of the Attorney General led the way for legislation that created the Crime Victims Compensation Act. This law reserved resources to help those who lives were interrupted by a violent crime. This financial assistance could include offsetting costs related to:
- Accessibility and Usability of Property
- Crime-Scene Clean Up
- Funeral/Burial Expenses
- Loss of Earnings
- Medical, Hospital and Dental Expenses
- Mental Health Counseling Expenses
- Relocation Costs
- Replacement Costs
- Tuition Expenses
The Illinois Crime Victims Compensation Program offers reimbursement up to $45,000 ($27,000 for crimes before 8/7/22) for expenses incurred by eligible victims as a result of a violent crime.
